At First Presbyterian Church Wichita, we believe children are not just the future of the church. They are an important part of the church right now. Our goal is to create a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment where kids can experience the love of Jesus, ask questions, build friendships, and grow in faith at their own pace.
Some kids are energetic. Some are quiet. Some are full of questions. Some need time to warm up. Every child is welcomed, valued, and loved here.
We partner with families to help children grow into compassionate disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, storytelling, service, community, and play.
Rise 'n Shine
During Sunday mornings, children are invited into an age-appropriate environment designed to help them engage Scripture, wonder about God, and build meaningful friendships. Through Bible stories, creative activities, prayer, and conversation, kids learn that:

- Faith can be joyful and meaningful
We want children to know church is a place where they are safe, seen, and deeply valued.
Safety & Care
Creating a safe environment for children is one of our highest priorities. All volunteers working with children complete screening and training processes designed to help provide a secure and caring ministry environment.

We believe faith is formed both at church and at home. Our desire is to support parents and caregivers as they nurture faith in everyday life. Whether your family has attended church for years or you are simply exploring faith for the first time, there is a place for you here.
